Entrawood stand in the 100% Design Hall, Decrex Joburg, Sandton Convention centre
ENTRAWOOD IS AT DECOREX JOBURG 2ND FLOOR, SANDTON CONVENTION CENTRE The doors are open to this year’s Decorex Joburg, there is so much to see of SA local talent, and new trends, listen to design industry speakers.
Visit Entrawood to see how much you can achieve with the backdrop display and storage range! The stand has a bright side, inspired by the “Japandi” trend, the lighting that has been incorporated into the backdrop range makes the wall of storage seem light and bright. The lighting we incorporated into the backdrop also highlights some photos of our staff and factory over the years.
The dark side is cheeky yet sophisticated, with pops of colour against the black backdrop. The Dream desk with FENIX NTM, mobile pedestal, desktop power, monitor arm and Magnetic Blackboard make this workstation a dream to work at!
Playing with colour, texture and light!
We wanted to create an open and inviting stand, we achieved this by not creating any barriers for anyone to step onto the stand, using FENIX NTM white, that doesn’t reflect light and is super silky to the touch (also anti-backterial), barrel oak (a warm wood grain), coral paint and highlighting everything with built-in lighting we created a warm and happy space. Didn’t want to over-crowd the stand, but rather highlight products that are synonymous with Entrawood.
The Soft curves of the shell executive desk and rocket fully upholstered chairs are also a nod to a friendlier and more comfortable environment.
On the “Black-side” we wanted to create an intimate office space and show just how effective and functional (not to mention sexy) you can make a small space with the right equipment. We used the Maluti height adjustable dream desk, and the shell mobile pedestal, and combined it with desktop power, a monitor arm with a 360-degree swivel and a magnetic blackboard. The backdrop adds more functional storage or display shelves and the oversized art finishes off the look. We also played with different textures of black, from super reflective blackboard, and somewhat reflective black melamine to a FENIX NTM laminate that is anti-reflective, and matte black powder coating for a rough texture.
We got Hafele to consult on the lighting that we incorporated into the backdrop stand and they recommended we add a dimmer switch to achieve the perfect luminance.
