We have also welcomed 2 new space planners to our team, Anneke and Lynette, who will be taking over from Lisa and KG. These talented ladies both have experience in working closely with clients to make their vision come to life. Read on to get to know each of them better.

Anneke has been working as a designer in the office furniture industry for a few years, she knows the right questions to ask and recommendations to make to ensure the best results for the client.

What do you enjoy most about being a designer?
“Having worked in the interior design, manufacturing & Point of sale field I have gained a vast amount of knowledge regarding design on a practical, hands-on level rather than only on a designing level.

My passion however lies within Product design and Interior Design
Brining the Clients vision to life is an extraordinary feeling and this is also the drive behind my ability to design something from nothing and staying focused on creating smart but still adding that little but of spark that makes it stand out from the crowd.

What is your design philosophy?
To Design a Work environment that inspires and motivates. “

Lynette’s background is mainly in Kitchens, she has worked closely with her clients from design to quotes and project managing to get the best results in the available space and budget.
Here is her take on how to win a client over:

– Always pay attention to the clients needs
– Strike quick and hard from the start
-Design fast and efficient
-Make an appointment as soon as possible for the client to come and see the design.
-stay within budget.
-have the quote and contract ready for when client comes in to finalize the design.

(If you pay attention, design fast and efficiently you will have the clients attention. Be quick with you time management. Do the measurements and start with the design when you are back at the office. The quicker you react the bigger is the chance for you to close the deal. If to take to long the client may loose interest and shop around.)

What do you enjoy most about begin a designer?
For me it’s the detail in the design. To be creative and thinking about how everything is going to work together is why I love being a designer.
